Removing 2nd row seats from 150 series

Hi all, my first post. I am trying to figure out how to remove the rear (ie second row) seats from my 2010 150 GX Prado so I can put in a full length false floor as I had in my previous 95 series. I can see some obvious bolts fixing the seat back rests to the floor, but then the backrest appears to pivot on a fitting going into the side bodywork. If I take the floor bolts out I dont know if this would then enable me to slide the backrest out sideways. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Interested as I need to do the same thing prior to crossing the Simpson.

The reason I didn't answer is I don't have a GX, nor have I ever taken the seats out of a 5 seat GX.

My GXL has a 60/40 split rear seat and comes out quite easy, it's the same seat as the 7 seat GX and other prado models. Trim covers off the bolts and 5 bolts 1 nut per seat and they are out. The only tools needed is a 14mm socket, short extension and ratchet. Post up some pics of where you are confused and someone might be able to point you in the right direction.

In the 5 seat GX the rear seat is a 60/40 split and the bum seat base pivots up to fold against the front seats and then the back rest section folds down into the floor which provides a near flat floor. Not sure how they are removed though.

Hi, has anyone successfully removed the single seat in the second (2nd/middle) row on a 2018 GXL. I’ve undone the bolts at the front and rear and it all look good until I see that the centre seat’s belt socket is attached to the single seat’s track. Still want the other two seats in the second row to be functional. Would be happy to leave the tracks in just not sure how to remove tracks from the seat. Any hints much appreciated.
