New ATF PID's for torque pro

Cuda,
ln my 2019 Prado, I am running TorquePro for my ATF temp and ATC temp with some information that I obtained from this forum. Do you know if that would apply to new 150kw variant? I could put those up for you. The ones I use seem ok and consistent. But I think more recently, GeeWhizz has posted some other information with much shorter formulae which are easier to key in.2019 Prado GXL 2.8L Diesel

After a 40+ year career in electronic engineering, I have built and coded my own CAN bus interface for a Prado (2016 Model GX, delivered in 2017). Theoretically, I could modify the code to interrogate all 256 PIDs on Toyota's '21' mode and simply log the output. The difficulty is always going to be interpreting the resulting data. Then, for comparison, do the same exercise on a 2021 model and then compare the two output logs. The log from the new model should not show a response for Mode/PID 2182 (AT Temperatures) but instead would show data on a previously unresponsive PID.
Trouble is, I don't have a 2021 model Prado and I can't afford one! Also, I'm not sure that I have the amount of time required to get something useful from the new data PIDs - a new PID just returns a series of bytes that have to be interpreted. Perhaps it's something the professionals (like ScanGauge, UltraGauge or Torque etc.) will be doing if the market demands it. But we'll have to wait.

The recent Prados have a new ECU, which uses much larger header addresses and/or longer Mode/PID numbers (I'm not sure which as my Prado is a MY16 version with the older ECU). The software in your CarScanner would have to be compatible with the newer format. For details of the Toyota codes, refer to the ScanGauge documentation here: ScanGauge2 for Toyota X-Gauge Codes

Cuda,
Don't know if you have already worked these out and I haven't got Torque Pro to test, but the equivalents work on my Scangauge II on a Nov 2021 Prado and will also probably work with Hilux as well.
Give them a try and let me know if they work.
Mode/PID: 221627 Name: ATF Pan Temp Equation: A-40 OBD Header: 700 --- Mode/PID: 221628 Name: ATF TC Temp Equation: A-40 OBD Header: 700 Mode/PID: 221620 Name: Torque Conv Lock-up Equation: Lookup(BIT(A:0)::0='Off':1='Lock') OBD Header: 700 Mode/PID: 221621 Name: Current Gear Equation A OBD Header: 700 Note: Will show 1 for P/N/R/1

Are you able to see if you can come up with updated code for DPF levels and manual DPF regen, as the old ones do not work anymore.

Hi grunfalo,
Sorry haven't found online or worked out those yet.
I have posted a lot of other scangauge codes in the link below if any are of interest and you want converted to Torque Pro happy to see what I can do.
Cheers
