Has anybody found that the Kakadu 'floats"?

I chatted to a Kakadu owner and he said that he hated his vehicle because it "floats". I haven't experienced that.
I told him that it shouldn't do that as it has KDSS. he just gave me a blank look. My guess is that he is just another Prado owner who hasn't RTFM(s).

I contacted my Toyota Dealership and was told that maybe he was using the COMF setting. So, I tried it and I did get a small amount of wishy-washy floating feeling but this COMF setting is for corrugated or bumpy roads, not highway driving.

Any opinions/experiences?

My Grande floats at the lowest/Comfort setting. Flick over to Sport and it is much better.

I use Sports mode for all of my normal/highway driving and Comf only for off road.
The wife likes to use the normal road as she complains the sport mode is a bit too harsh for her.

In sports mode it drives like its on rails. Love it

As already said, mine is fine. Only uses the COMF setting off-road and bumpy roads.

yes loak if people rtfm you could delete half the posts on this site.
