Haha, don't get me started on the old argument that it's the 4wd's fault for running over kids in the driveway. Sit a 2 year old behind a Smart car and see if you can see them in from the drivers seat. Not a chance.150 GXL V6 Auto. Hi Mowya,
If you want a suspension expert to look at it, i can recommend a place called TRUTRAK in North Melbourne.
The owner Ralph sets up a lot of race cars for track work and tarmac rallying, there isn't much he doesn't know about suspension; he has set up a few cars for me over the years.
You can rest assured that if there needs to be significant work done, this is the place you want it done at. A look around the workshop will put your mind at ease.
Good Luck and please keep us posted with the results as im sure many would love to see it done; and you are right the site is called "Pradopoint" after all, and we all have our own reasons for buying these great cars.
Cheers
Danny

I think good on you for doing what your doing. Wish I had some helpful information but unfortunately I don't. As a regular "shite stirrer" on this forum I must admit that despite your proven dedication to Prados, the concept of lowering (or if I can say "pimping") a Prado is foreign to those on the forum.
Most of us deep down support each other doing whatever we want to our Prados but you are opening up the the Aussie way of hanging a little shite so please don't let it rile you or cause you to leave this great forum. You are obviously just as welcome and appreciated as every other member on here. So, if I get any valuable info I will let you know, AND after this post I am treating this thread as free for all, just like you are free to "take the piss" out of this post and anything else I say, which is usually wrong lol.
Take care and good luck in pimping your Prado!Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

I'd like to see something different now and then, so here's my contribution to this thread.
I know that this is for a 150 but there is an excellent 120 suspension database where you can draw some info from.
1. Apart from shorter springs, you will need struts and shocks with a shorter closed length. Here are some struts that are significantly shorter:
