Some of the guys use Bilstein struts which has 3 spring seat grooves on the strut which gives differing amounts of preload.
For other struts, the easiest is to add a strut spacer which goes between the top of the strut and chassis.
Or coil spacers which goes between the coil and the strut at the bottom. Link below is for a Patrol

Mark, yes it is a left hand drive...

My car is not a VX, it is a TX Diesel, so does not have the reverse camara screen, it have original leather and 7" headrest monitors on the back, good for the kids...

Here is the picture of the complete dash...

Here are the monitors of the back...

they call my model here in Panama, semi full... jejejeje

I also add to the car the front and back bumper sensors....

Looks awesome Brains: just back from Tewah beach....got stuck again towing a camper trailer, just not enough height in the stock Toyota supension to get through the ruts'n'sand!!!!

Decided enough was enough and started researching this morning on lift-kits and yours is far the best I've seen. Can you advise on the cost for supply and fit from the boys at Brendale?

            cheers

Well , i did it. Strut spacers in 1 inch size on KDSS car.
What is the result- no lean at all, strange. But the down side is that the car now is much stiffer. Is good on the corners but now every unequal road u fill it.
I need to check OEM one from my friend to compare. My be i just have that funny filling that after some change i should fill some differences, but may be it is a truth , will check.
I made it only on front , so now car is levered, front and rear at the same high what i really like

I think the kit retails for $1012 and they charge around $300 - $350 for the install. I got my setup through a contact of mine who looked after me for that and some other gear. The boys out at Brendale are very helpful and I'm sure can match anyone elses quote on their gear. I have seen the kits on ebay for around the $850 - $900 if you can fit it yourself or with some mates. Otherwise go out to Brendale and advise them that you saw the install they did on the Black 150 on Pradopoint and want a similar setup.

thanks for the input. quite often the original suspension is rubbish for off road use.

They make original suspension to a price same as the rubbish Grandcrap tyres they put on them.
Upgraded suspension is installed when loads are increased by equipment and bullbars and to also give greater clearance when driving off road. And there's quite a lot of non original vehicles on Pradopoint, hope you don't catch on!!

Have you ever tried to claim warranty on a consumable item? Tyres because you took your vehicle to a racetrack? Brakes because you tow your 2.5t trailer through the blue mountains every day? Air filter because you drive on a dirt road?

Warranty is a fake all over the world! I can admit, i was never lucky to win anything on warranty, even if they try to repair anything , they do it wrong most of the time.

Taking a 4wd four wheel driving is not abuse, we understand that the oem suspension may not do the job as well as other aftermarket suspension. Hence the reason for upgrading!!!
