Did they tell you what part numbers are fitted to the front, check invoice and suspension paperwork. The part number should be recorded on the suspension form beside each corner.

Mine has also dropped however that is a a Tjm fitment issue, I had the front bushes replaced(ended up replacing struts) and they forgot to put the spacers back in that I had setup in the front, makes the KDSS a bit average... In to be fixed next week. Hutch and Brains are right, give Brendale a call and they should be able to assist in information.

I took Paul's advice and rung Darren from Brendale TJM, very helpful, i have the right parts fitted just no spacers? So its another trip back to Adelaide (don't have a good enough excuse to head up to Brisbane) to have to spacers fitted which should solve the poor results achieved so far, once again thanks for the help, when i get it fixed i post a photo of the final result.

      cheers

Adrian at least u know now, bloody frustrating though that they can't get a simple thing like a spacer right, also gives a bad name to the brand, charge them your fuel costs, I would be.

I know how frustrating it can be going back to go back to TJM to have rework carried out due to what can only be described as simple installation procedures, thankfully not 4 hours away though like yourself Adrian.
I wonder if these spacers come in the box with the struts or if its a separate part that's not being ordered by the sales people when booking in the vehicle.
That said it is disappointing that the spacers are required as IMO it means that the strut isn't specifically designed for the 150 but has been adapted to suit. All in all once the spacer issue was resolved mine does ride quite well.

Hope you get the result your after in the end and receive some form of compensation.

check your struts, how many spacers are on the strut (under the spring seating plate)?
mine has a 20mm and an 8mm spacer.
if these haven't been fitted that may be at least 28mm of you lost height.

Have a read through this thread

It seems strange that 28mm of spacers are required as well as new springs to achieve a 50mm lift. The 28mm spacers will give about 56mm of lift alone, due to the 2:1 wheel travel to strut travel ratio.

So i had the front springs replaced the other day to a HD spring which has improved it a little but still only a 5 and 10mm lift above the OE suspension. So now its another trip back to Adelaide to the TJM store for a third attempt at getting this right, just a little frustrated with the results so far, but i'm sure it will be fixed this time round....

              OE suspension heights

              LF 750mm RF 760mm
              LR 780mm RR 790mm

              Ride after first set

              LF 740mm RF 755mm
              LR 830mm RR 840mm

              Ride height after second set

              LF 760mm RF 765mm
              LR 830mm RR 830mm

I have to apologies, in my first post i said it dropped 40mm, i missed read the form they provided.

              cheers
The fact that your front suspension dropped 5-10mm after the first set indicates that TJMs front medium springs are not up to the task and would seem to be shorter or a lower spring rate than OE. Even the second set isn't much better than OE, with only 5-10mm lift. I suspect TJM may be still using 120 series spec springs.

To achieve the required lift, 20mm spacers either side should bring your front height up to a respectable 800mm. With the rear already at 830mm, you will find this to be ideal.

Does anyone have a photo of where these spacers should be fitted?

                Cheers

Assuming the design of these Lovell's spacers are similar, they fit under the spring seat like this:

TJM should update their standard fitment instructions if they don't want anymore stuff ups with the number of spacers required. Seems to be a common occurrence around the country where the initial set up becomes a drama.

The handful of branches that know the ins and outs for Prado installs shouldn't need to come to the rescue.

Well done Darren for taking the time required.
