Don't know how serious they really are. When the dealer was getting pricing it was never mentioned as an option.

Wish I could get involved just fitted XGS gold system and not overly impressed. 8 mm of lift in the front. Lot of work for little reward. No instructions about spacing rings provided with the kit. Thought I would try TJM out but always had the OME stuff in the past. Next time I will seek more advise before handing over my hard earned. Cheers

              Thanks Hutch,
Sort'o looking for a bit more information than that, but today I went back to talk to the shop where it came from and they rang TJM and talked to their suspension man. I also sent them an email and it got to the same person in a round about way so now I know what it all means. With 4 rings and three different sizes, at least 11 combinations is it any wonder that without instructions it may not be crystal as to what setting is required to achieve a 40mm.
I'll pull it apart again and have another go.
              Cheers
              Tony

Tony when I picked mine up it only had an 8mm spacer and the front was 765mm. Seems a bit of confusion. Now it has 32(?)mm and is sitting at 805. I expect it to settle down to about 795mm by the time it is due for its checkup. Easy fix if a little tedious.

EDIT: TJM T3 bar, no winch or dual battery up front.

I was pissed off too. I do however like the spacer concept. You can run a softer spring and get the required lift too. Compared to the ARB stuff in the 120 (still new) the ride is softer and more plush. More body roll but definitely less harsh over the lumps. Having said that the 120 is fine too, just different.

Hutch, I ended up finding out that the no matter what your not suppose to have less than 60 mm of drop from normal ride height to wheel off the ground.

You do not want to over lift the truck or all sorts of troubles can ensue. I have ended up with around 90 mm of drop and just over 30 mm of lift in the front and 45 mm in the rear. Looks almost level surprising enough and handles fine with a wheel alignment.

Would have preferred 40 mm in front and 50 mm in the rear but not to be.

Basically a 10 mm spacing ring will lift the vehicle 20 mm.

Mind you it takes about three hours to change the ride height by the time you pull the strut apart, wheels off etc, so I could not be bothered trying to get a few more millimetres.

                    Cheers. Tony.
