Could you measure the diameter of the reservoir as I might end up doing something similiar if I'm not happy with the way they mount them
rear mounted to the chassis rail up behind the mud flap looks like a good location
front mounted to the bulbar bash plate, a good location as they are out of the engine bay and away from heat and well protected

Getting mine fitted in a week at Dobinsons in Dandenong, he said they've done a few now. What's everyone been doing with coil seat adjustment? Same heights or right side a smidge higher ?
Cheers

So I've had mine installed for 2 weeks. Haven't even had a chance to try them offroad yet. Was gonna have a crack at relocating the front reservoirs as I didn't like where they mounted them drilled thru my front recovery points and was gonna add some split tube. Had a look at it seems they passed the hose between the body and sway bar. Very tight spot and of course it has rubbed thru the rubber outer layer and exposed the metal hose underneath. Seems I'm gonna have to go back now. Hmmmm
Does anyone have a picture of where theirs was mounted and how the hose was placed

They DRILLED through your recovery points? FFS!
Between the swaybar and the body clearly isn't a good idea. I think we have seen a couple of options so far:
* Mounted on the bullbar plate. (Fred63)
* Mounted on the wheel well behind the strut tower. (Photoprado)
* Mounted above the swaybar mount using Superior engineering mounts (haven't seen them with Dobinsons res yet, but should work)

I would be going back to that installer immediately and demand new recovery points and new hoses and relocate the reservoirs properly, all at their expense!!
Drilling through recovery points is beyond ludicrous, whoever did that needs to be fired asap!

Well apparently the holes I used when installing AMTS recovery point is the same hole they use when mounting the reservoir. While not happy they mounted them on the recovery point I'm fairly certain the structural integrity of them should be ok but I'm not an engineer so at best it's a guess.
I've since called them and I'm getting it all sorted next week so I'll see how that goes but I'll definitely get them to reroute the hoses2008 Prado 120 GXL V6 auto. Stock...but slowly building it up

No way you should be using a recovery point with holes drilled through it!
I'm not an engineer, but rule number one with recovery/roll over bars... No drilling or welding I thought!
Pretty damn sure insurance, recovery point manufacturers, Toyota etc would not cover you if they snap and let go at a great rate of knots!!2013 (MY14 Facelift) GX - KDJ150R

Even if that is a pre-existing hole that reservoir is way too vulnerable in that location. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

The hole they intended to use was on the chassis and was pre existing but that was used for the recovery point, so they drilled a new home in the point to mount the bracket
I'm still unsure where to mount them as I don't have a bullbar and the superior engineering bracket looks like it will foul the recovery point2008 Prado 120 GXL V6 auto. Stock...but slowly building it up
