OME 500km Check - Will it Cost Me?

Does anyone know if ARB are likely to charge me for the 500km check required for my new OME suspension?

I will be heading to a different store for the check - is this likely to cause a lightening of my back pocket?

No, its a very quick visual inspection only.

Measure it at each corner, look at the springs and shock, write on the warranty card and off you go!

No won't cost you anything. I'm sure all they will do is measure your height and document it. Not sure why cause mine sagged up to 17mm after the 500 checkup and it was a battle to get looked at and they then put a spacer in too gain the lift. All depends which store you go to. I believe I should have 2885 in the front as I have a deluxe bar and winch & dual batteries. I pointed this out to the queensland manager at nudgee who disagreed with myself and the selector and said my2884s were what I needed

This is what I expected. I was told by the guys at ARB Hoppers Crossing that they'd get it up on the hoist, check and tighten everything and re-measure. Ill be going to an independent workshop who are an ARB dealer, so anything could happen.

Mine didn't cost anything me but it was at the same store that did the fitting. Its required for the warranty though

Got my setup installed yesterday and can confirm it's a free check. It can also be done at over 500km if that happens and it won't void anything.

I'd done closer to about 1000km (in a little over a week) including 300km on the freeway, a couple of hours off road, and some country highway miles

Yeah I told the guys I wouldn't be able to get it back in til about 1100km-ish as I'm going out bush. They didn't have a problem. Doing about 300km of badly corrugated dirt this trip so at least it will get a good workout to find any bugs!
