  • 150 Stability control weird one

    Question to you all.
I have raised hundreds of 150's at work and never had any issues.
I have a customer with a weird one.
Fitted Bilsteins and Kings to his 150 approx 12 months ago & has been great. Only recently he changed from the OE H/T tyres to Hankook A/T's, but still in the factory size.
Since the tyre swap, he periodically has the stability control system activate when cornering.
Not during fast cornering or sharp turns or anything excessive, just normal cornering.

Has anyone else come across something like this?

    Regards, Jason.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I would borrow four standard tyres and see if is still does it. If you were up here I would lend you my four spares!

I have the same issue (I am running 285 muddies) I have had the ESC system re-cald by toyota and done a few other things but it is still there...
Even replaced both left and right side front ABS wire/sensor assemblies to no avail... Next move will be to replace back ones as well....

I have noticed that it happens less after the car is washed so my guess is that it is to do with dodgy speed sensors and since I have replaced the fronts it must be the rears that are playing up (especially when dirty :-) )
