Hi all. Recently upgraded my old (65000kms) tough dog adjustable shocks and springs to the BP51s and thought i'd give some real world feed back on the product.
Have travelled around 5000kms since installation on all types of terrain and so far so good.
Very happy with the ride of the prado over hunderds of kms of corrigations. No fade whatsoever and no bumpsteer at all.
High speed washouts are where the BP51's really shine. I can now hit a washout at much greater speed than before without bottoming out or any harshness.
It does feel slightly twitchy and understeery on loose gravel roads which is probably an adjustment issue. (possibly a little softer on the compression dampning?)
Is there anyone else running this gear willing to share their shock settings for comparison? (I haven't had a chance to play with the settings myself)
cheers
