Is there a spacer ring fitted under the coil seat on the front struts? Can you post some photos?

Hey,

Can anyone with these struts post up photos so we can see the correct coil seat orientation.

Also can someone get a ruler on the strut and double check the closed and open lengths.

Your droop and ride height figures would be good to know as well!

We have just come back from our Darling River Run Trip and I had the LHS Front Strut Top Nut/Stud Thread strip and I had to have both struts replaced in Lightning Ridge. The only struts the mechanic had in stock was Ironman (I was running Lovells). I obviously had the mechanic fit the Ironman struts so we could continue our trip and they performed faultlessly for the rest of the trip and gave a good ride, but I did forget to ask the mechanic whether they we suited for a 2" lift, like I had or standard height..... I'll have a look tomorrow and take some photos showing how the coils sit, but does anyone know the model numbers of what a 2" Ironman strut is? Just a bit concerned that they may have installed a strut for a std height Prado.....
