150 petrol OEM coil springs needed

Hey 150 drivers,

I'm trying to track down some OEM coil springs from a petrol 150 series (pre 2015 model) so I can complete my OEM coil spring database.

The 150 petrols are much rarer than 150 diesels, and John up at Zordos still hasn't had a petrol 150 come through yet.

If anyone in Brisbane has their petrol 150 coils tucked away in the shed, and you don't mind donating them to my collection, could you please PM me!

I saw a petrol 150 at Sherwood in Brisbane today, so I know there's at least one in Brissy!

I get the coils load tested at King Springs down the Gold Coast.

150 petrol coils are the only set I'm missing to complete the IFS series.

I can borrow a single rear and a single front if necessary, although I'll need to drop them at King Springs for about 1 week.

I usually keep all the struts, shocks and coils I collect, so to complete the collection I was hoping to keep some 150 petrol coils.

Do you have some, or do you know somebody who has them in the shed?

I have a set down here in Melbourne Mark but they are off a 2009 Kakadu V6 so will be different lengths.

I'll be replacing mine with a new set of Toyota suspension at some point (I picked up a set already), but the original gear that is on still feels quite good, so I'm not sure when.

If it's not too much trouble, would you mind checking what the colour code on your front coils is, and how many coil wraps there are?

I'm not sure if a GXL petrol 150 has the same front coils as a Kakadu?

Hey,

I think they'll be double purple one side, double brown for the other side.

The KDSS coils will definitely be different height wise to the GXL...but they might be similar rates!
