  • advise for a Brisbane suspension installer (bilstein/kings)

Hi, I have read all the suspension threads and am going to go with bilstein/king spring combo on my SX, but I am struggling to find a good company in Brisbane to supply and fit the parts.
Can anyone recommend anyone they have used or have experience with?
    cheers,
    Simon

Got mine at Fulcrum Capalaba. Did a fine job.

Hi guys, I have spoken with Michael at Fulcrum, Capalaba and he has suggested the Bilstein BE5A712/3 and Kings KTFS101/2.
I don't want a lift (or big lift) so these springs should give me 10-20mm, and firm up the wallowing of the Prado.

Prices seem good and they can book it in next week

            cheers,
            Simon

Actually,as I have the 3door, I wonder if the lift will be a bit more, as the 3door is 200-300kg lighter than the 5 door and they use the same springs.

mate - i tried fulcrum capalaba and fulcrum browns plains. now you'd think they'd quote the same - no way. browns plains was $200 cheaper. so it's worth ringing around.

also, southside suspension were cheaper again (by $100 over fulcrum browns plains).

but the cheapest quote i have seen from another member on this forum is at jaxx capalaba - they came in at under fulcrum with airbags. taking the price of the airbags out, you'd expect to pay $100 less than southside suspension, $200 less than fulcrum brown plains and $400 less than fulcrum capalaba.
