17" alloys

I everybody, Luca here from Italy and his new Prado (Land Cruiser up here) 150 trying to source some nice 17" rims to fit serious All terrain tires in place of the standard 18"s.

From my researches it seems very difficult to find 17" alloys that fits the 150, while there were many for the 120. This is why I'm asking your help as Australian market is certainly wider than European and you might have some nice hints.

By the way, I like a lot this wheels http://www.rhinorack.com.au/Vehicle_...3489_4499.aspx which looks like genuine Toyota parts, any opinion? Have you ever seen them around down there ?

Not that many wheel options yet for VXand Kakadu - the wheels on your link are Toyota wheels on the GX / GXL models and advice from Toyota and wheel dealers I spoke with say these won't fit the VX / Kakadu.

Thank you Keeper, I've read the firs two link but the last one was new to me, and it was also the most interesting.

Would be important to know what makes the 17" rims of GX/GXL not suitable for VX (mine is the equivalent of Kakadu I guess). Is it a matter of physical dimensions (inner part of rim hitting the front brake calipers) or something else?

Feedback on 18 to 17 " wheel swap Not sure if Pradolover has a VX or Kakadu though.
