He has fitted their hilux UCA'S to a prado 120 and said the 120 and 150 are the same just have to sell my old tyres and will find out, ow yea.
Max's Hilux actually runs on 33s but the Rekon gear has been on it for a long while and there are quite a few other Hiluxes running the full Rekon setup from Monster Rides without any longevity issues.

At the end of January Matt had said that they were around 4-6 weeks from finishing their testing of a full kit for the Prado. I'm still waiting for delivery of my Prado so haven't chased him again but will do shortly.

My bad, thought I read on a build up forum was 35's. Have only made contact via email with him.

A full kit for the prado would be good..... 3-4 inch lift with diff drop kit i would be keen!

Got an email reply from Matt last night:

Anyway we have just finished a set of diff relocation brackets for the Prado 120, and also UCA's.
The same front coilover work form the Hilux and we have a shock that works in the rear as well.

We don't have bash plates yet, but they aren't far away.

We are just testing the finished products over the next few weeks and we hope to debut the kit at Tuff Truck.

Pricng on the whole kit will be similar to the Hilux Rekon kit at around $4000, but it will be able to be bought as individual parts as well.
Apparently Matt wants to launch the product here on PP.

          Just an update.
I have ordered a pair of icon uca's, diff drop kit, sway bar relocation plates and front and rear coil spacers for another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch lift.

So far the approach and deprture angles have been greatly improved to just over 36 degress front and rear, a great improvement from factory.

Will post pics and details on how it all goes with fitment of uca's etc.

Finally made a move. Ive ordered 17x8 CSA Tanami Wheels with an ET20 Offset, and ordered 275/70/17 Maxxis Bighorn 762s. Wanted 285/70/17s, but this way Im border line legal and I know they will fit with no rubbing.

I to have revised my thoughts.
              My current thoughts are 275 x 70 x 17 Mickey thompson STZ's.
These will be completely legal in Victoria & as far as I can gather will not rub.
Hopefully will get car first full week in March.

              Regards

Hey adamr7, I have 275/70/17 bfg all terrains on my original rims and they don't rub,so you don't need new rims for that size.

Hi Winesy, I didnt think it would be too much of an issue, but thought I might try and dress the truck up a bit with a set of flashy wheels, should have some photos tomorrow.

Hey bro my 120 that the Roo mentions in that other post had the spare spaced out and the back door skin cracked from the corrugations + stiff suspenders + extra leverage... might wanna be careful here given the front end crack as you obviously use your car in tough country. I leave a standard size on the door and take along a full size carcass on long trips.

Thanks for the heads up Gordon,
I have noticed the extra weight with opening and closing the rear door and did think about how the hinges etc would handle it.

Are you guys checking the clearence at full lock and compression to see if they rub? If 33's rub on the flat then they you will have big problems when offroading as when you flex up and at full lock it will be hard on the bodymount most likely. The best way to test is to reverse one side of the fourby up a ramp or rock etc to put all the weight on the front corner, then do full lock both ways to see how much it's really going to rub. If you run 3"+ of lift you should be right

                          Hey double_d69

Yea i lifted the fronts and rears up with a forklift on each corner but with the new heavy springs doesnt rub a massive amount will have to try your way to get the extra weight on the front.
I shouldnt have any clearance issues once the rest of my parts turn up, getting icon uniball UCA'S, front and rear strut spacers and sway bar relocation plates and diff drop kit.this will give me an extra inch or so suspension travel at front, blocks will lift the front about 3/4 of an inch and the rear about 1/2 an inch.and the front c/v's will be happier
                          hopefully about another week away

I see you have plenty of flex/lift how does your rig handle? and how do you like the src shocks?

You wont be disappointed with that setup!

My ride handles very well, although I don't run swaybars so not as tight around corners as it used to be. The shockies are awesome, couldn't believe the difference going from TD to those.

Does any one here know much about the 18 inch rims and the cooper AT3's?
I would like to put cooper at3's on my vx but the light truck version only comes in 275/65/18 the OD is 815mm. Will this scrub as it is 39 mm OD bigger then the standard tyres? Any advise would be great. Cheers

                                Macc

                                I am planning on fitting 275 x 70 x 17 MT STZ's on Friday.
These are 2 mm smaller than the 18's & legal in Vic & WA - don't know about the other states.
I have been told they fit.

If you go to ARB's website you might notice a set of 275 x 70 x 18 MT ATZ 4 Ribs on one of their Prado's.
I have been told they are a tight fit.

                                Let you know on Friday.
                                Cheers
