VX H/T rubber - seeking recommendations

OK, have clocked up 57K and crunch time is approaching on the decision to replace the original tyres. Leaning toward the Cooper H/T pllus, but would like feedback from others who have fitted H/T rubber in the 18" size.

What did you replace with and wha are your thoughts?

I've just fitted some Pirelli scorpions. Not been on for long but pretty impressive. Had them out in the heavy rain 2 days ago and they performed really well through mud, water and some good hard rock climbs. On gravel roads really have to be quite aggressive with the swerving to get them to break loose and on the highway they have very low road noise. Haven't tried sand yet but from what I've read I expect them to perform well. $300ea @ Jax tires. $359ea @ Bob Janes (WTF). Have been told to expect 80000km's from them but we'll see.

Im in the same boat, VX with 50K on grand treks, First let me say how much i love the grands, they have done the outback (as much dirt ks as we could) and lots of rough roads. Not a mark on them, quite smooth. And stop on the road we have had to do a couple of times,
But now its time to look for replacements. The VX has 18 inch rims.
Has anyone actually purchased the Cooper AT3s in 265, 65, 18? if so where and how much please. Any better ideas,?
I believe the 65s will be legal after a few kilometers as they are close as new.

Changed my tyres over to Cooper H/T plus after 500klm , now done 24,000klm on the Coopers
the handling of the prado was a huge difference mostly in conering as the Coopers felt stiffer and sound under the feet when turning But the Dunlops felt sloppy and as they were ready to slip sideways.
Now all this was on Tar roads from Sydney to Newcastle on the old Hway.
Even the wife was glad to change over to coopers and using her words " doesnt feel like they are rolling off the rim"

On SAND at Stockton beach they are great, but then most tyres are if you drive to the conditions

I swapped mine off when I picked up the vehicle and run the Cooper AT3 in a 275 65R18 and really love them. Big deep tread, solid wall and no squirm on the road. I am biased towards Cooper's as most of my work vehicles either have a STT or S/T tyre fitted. I still have the 5 Dunlop factories sitting in the shed brand new, done 5 km. The speedo is bang on the money too.

Yibbita do you have any problems with the Cooper's wheels touching the vehicle on hard turns? I've done 50,000 on my 18" Grandtreks so will need to look at new tyres soon as well. Was wondering if anyone has tried the new Mickey Thompson S/T in 265/60/18
