Hey Gentlemen,
I have a 150 GX Diesel manual that is fitted with the standard GX alloys and 245/70 Bridgestone H/T's that I don't have much confidence in when tackling some of the tracks up here in the NT, particularly this time of year.
even though we only probably have another month or left in the wet season I am looking to get some bigger wheels/tyres for the rig, and figured if I'm gonna do it might as well go big.
So, I'm keen to get the Ballistic Jester or Enigma in the 17 x 9 et12 and probably wrap them with 275/70's BFG AT's, I have a 2 inch suspension lift in and the 245/70's look a little pathetic in the wheel wells. What worries me is I haven't found much information on the Jesters or Enigmas to know if they will fit the 150. I have seen a pic of a 150 with Incubus Crusher(Ballistic) in 17 x 9 et12 and another with 18 x9 Ballistic Wizard's. The Jester's fit the 120 and there are photos of the enigma on current model hilux's.
I've contacted two dealerships that stock Ballistic wheels and one says the Jester will fit and the other I'm not sure has a clue but are saying no.
My questions is... does anyone have experience/knowledge regarding the Ballistic Jester or Enigma fitting the 150 GX?

I found caps on eBay that might fit, too scared to get them in case they don't! Come in black or chrome.

I put the Ballistic Jester 17x9's on my 2007 TD Prado this afternoon and am very happy with them EXCEPT that as the wheels are 9" wide, the tyre expands (265mm) so wide that they couldn't fit the white rear wheel cover on. Has anybody found a way to MAKE it fit back on? I have not yet tried myself.
Was going to upload a pic but it says I have no permission on here to do so.
Try looking here: http://www.f1.net.au/wp-content/uplo...01/Prado-3.jpg

Has or is anyone running -30 offset on their 150? There was a set of wheels for sale a few weeks ago, but I missed out on them because of work commitments. the seller said the rims were -30 offset and the tires were 285s (roughly 33s) he had 2" lift and no rubbing..
here is a picture from the ad, they dont look like they stick out of the guards.. I like the stance of it, at the moment my 150 is sitting on a set of +30 speedy grande's that came on it from the car yard and it looks ridiculous.
I want to run 285s with 2" lift without changing the UCAs, do you think -30 17x8s are the answer? and yes i have searched and there is no definitive answer.Last edited by maat; 13-08-2016, 10:40 AM.

P30 won't be legal, you should have taken that up with the car yard. -30? Don't look it, that would mean 55 wider each side than stock. Also not legal in most opif not all states. Check your Dept regs before going any further. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic
