I haven't been here for quite a while - my apologies. I have BFG tyres that are LT and they are great.

Oh, and the tyre cover doesn't fit. Had to remove it to fit the spare wheel back on.
Then 2 things happen:
1) A quick look from the outside, and I think it looks much nicer without the cover, especially with a BGF hanging off the back.
2) Another quick look from the inside. And the visibility through the back window is quite a bit better. The wheel still gets in the way, but not as much as with the cover on.
So that's it. The cover's not going back on :-)

They look really good Daniel...
Obviously worth the wait for the BFG.
Got me thinking now, might consider them in lieu of the MT STZ I was planing on getting.
Nice one!!
Cheers,

Hi Daz, the OD is 790mm.
Very happy overall, going to the 65, has given me an extra 1.5" of lift. It has really filled the guards out.-----------------------

It says on the BFG website that these tyres are 31.7" Dia (805.18mm) which is 30mm larger than the standard Prado 18" Wheel 265/60R18 issue tyres.
This makes your BFG tyres 15mm larger than the QLD legal limit....
I think these tyres look awesome, but it worries me a bit if I was ever in a accident and my insurance pulled me up on this!
Cheers,

It might be when it's sitting off the car, but with 2.5t of 4wd sitting on it the tyre is not 100% round... This was measured very roughly with a tape this morning.
In regards to the extra clearance achieved, vehicle was measured very quickly in the garage from the cement to the base of the wheel arch before the the tyres were fitted and again this morning to reply to Daz.
Legality wise, going from the 60 to 65 was intentional, I am sure I am not the first nor the last. I have advised Suncorp that I have added these Tyres to the vehicle and they have noted the size and make, no issue was mentioned at the time yesterday when upgrading the policy, I will even have it in writing soon.-----------------------
