  • What size wheels for a gx.

Hey guys, new to all this prado stuff, I have a 09 gx with 245/70/17's on the standard toyota rims, I recently got a 2 inch lift all round and want to get the biggest tyres I possibly can without having to modify anything, and also the biggest tyres I can run if I get some new rims as well.

In the 150 wheels section that you posted this in only 2 threads from the top of the list is this one http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...t-on-GX-wheels asking pretty much the same thing.

Always pays to have a good search before starting a new thread.

    Cheers Andrew

I realise that, but that is a 3 year old thread, thats has completely deviated from the original question, hence why I started this new thread.

I have black steel 17x8 rims with 10mm offset.( tyres are nice and level with guards)
        Tyres are 275x70x17 BFG AT.
Car has 2 inch lift and there is no scrub during 90% of driving. A slight trim if the front mud guards would eliminate all scrubbing.

        Cheers

As a new person to Prado point wanting advise, your response to him was quite smug Andrew. We need to be able to offer help when needed and not correct people. As stated he is new to all this.

Sorry if you think I was being smug, but in fact I did offer help and advise. I linked to a thread that answers the first part of his question and goes someway to answering the second part of his question. I also offered some friendly advise on searching before starting a new thread, which after all is one of the rules on PP.

I fail to see how any of that is being smug or unhelpful. But If I am wrong about any of that I thank you for correcting me, although didn't you say we should help people rather than correct them

            Cheers Andrew
