On the BFG facebook page someone has asked about the Australian release dates for the KO2, the reply from BFG was:
BFGoodrich Tires Australia & New Zealand Hi Paul first sizes will come around March... Please check in with us then as we will have more confirmed details. Cheers
In the US, the BFG website only lists a 275-70-17 for a 17inch rim, at approx 817mm this is 13mm larger in diameter than the 270-65-17 and 41mm larger than the 265-65-17. Time will tell what sizes we get I suppose. A bit of propaganda to view below
These look the goods. Will have to wait as only have 65000 on my existing A/T KO's and still have more than 1/2 tread left. Also have a new set of M/T KM2 to wear out. Always had BFG MUDs and A/T since our 60 series in 1988 other than some Kelly AWR and some Bridgestones on a Hilux.
Rusty.

In melb at least, you can get the best tyres, bfg (bloody fu$kin good) a/t, 265/70-17 $290 each.
Free rotate & bal very 10,000k. Proper Aussie bfg from mitchellin, not grey imports from Thailand with soft compound.

Jax Essendon. Tell them I sent you.
Hmm I called up my local jax this week at Blacktown NSW and they said they were $330 each. They reckon even at that price they weren't making much even with me buying 5. I wonder if they get them from the same place and I am just ripped off
2008 Prado 120 GXL V6 auto. Stock...but slowly building it up
I was quoted $330 NSW Central Coast, in stock too.
Managed to swing a good trade deal on the new 150's tires, $878 exchange for all 5.
Happy Days.
Hi MD Simpson - this is my first post, so hopefully I'm doing it correctly! I am in the process of fitting BFG AT/KO 265 65 R17 tyres to my 150 series Prado Altitude. Are these the same size BFGs as you fitted? It's just that I've seen people referring to 265 70s in this thread and wondered if I have the size wrong?
