I have a near new set of BF 265/70/R17 all terrain KO's on my 2008 petrol 120 Prado manual. Given thier cost (inc spare) I am asking to swap them onto the a new Prado auto 2.8D GXL I am buying..Let me know of any experiences or issues with this Especially drastic fuel economy, performance or rubbing issues.
I know the spare may be tight on the spare wheel cover but was going to try and fit by fitting one of the 10,000km worn BF,s and dropping the spare tyre pressure to 20 to 25 psi???
Also I am aware I may have to use a spacer on the spare to get the tyre away from the body. I brought a 120 series spacer from Andrew (amts) in 2013 for my 120 will this suit the 150 series??
