265/70/17 towing

A question to those who have fitted 265/70/17 and towing up near the limit of 2500kg have you noticed any difference to the standard size in pulling power
Cheers

Yes. More sluggish on takeoff and sometimes constantly hunting gears in a headwind/undulating road. Hills are also a bigger issue with larger tyres.

Thanks piggy, wasn't sure if a small tyre size upgrade would but the Prado does struggle as it is, let alone an upgrade

I have the v6. No struggles. It's just got a noticeable difference with the 70's.

It might be more comfortable cruising in 4th than with standard tyres.
