EDIT 2: Read your post wrong. Not sure why one is more expensive, as mjrandom says there are different batch numbers and places of origin. I was told by a BFG rep that you won't get warranty out of them if something happens and they look up the batch number on the tyre and see that they never imported it themselves- Basically if something is a grey import it'll be cheap, but there's no backup.
I purchased mine locally from Gympie and I paid a bit more (I think around 330 a tyre from memory) than Tyre Sales had them for. The extra cost for me was worth it to have somewhere local that I can get warranty and support if anything happend.
