Yep they fit. Top of the line wheel, gross overkill really but, yeah.

Chose the Maxxis Razr AT811s in 285 70r17

This wheel is an 8.5 w/ ET20 offset, compare to factory 7.5 ET25 in an 18. Lot of beef here, again, overkill, but, yeah. Why? Why not!

OOPS they don't fit - slightest of rubbing on the front mud flap mount bolts (flaps have been removed) on full lock in Reverse only - reversing for parallel parking. Will get that sorted. This thing has a roughly 2" OME lift on it, it has settled, been on for about 70K. I believe camber adjustment and some tweaks to the wheel well plates would be next step if needed.

If it is rubbing when reversing into a car park I think you will have a lot more rubbing when the suspension is compressed and turning offroad.

Yup. About to add a spacer to the front strut assemblies, 25mm more we estimate will do the trick. Then will get after full testing.

I foresee Bent struts in your future adding spacers...... Never a good idea.

Listening. What would be a good idea here? Ball peen hammer to the fender wells? Seriously Could probably persuade 10mm out of them.

Edit to add: the rubbing is on the ARB bumper fender well covers that come w/ the Sahara bar - it's stamped steel, and there appears to be nothing structural about it, just armor for the underbelly bits beneath both headlamps, in front of the wheels. Seems like an easy place to buy more space, and again, a cm would do it.

Yep, got it. Hammer time. Just need more space in the wheel well, easily gotten.
