Re: 265/70R17 BFG Goodrich Mud Terrains
I did a google search for BFG 265/65/17 which I found a jeep forum where someone was getting in an assortment of BFGs, one of which was the BFG 265/65/17 KM2 Mud Terrains. Gave him a call to verify and found out that a Toyota dealer in Brisbane had scooped the lot. Have left my details with him for the next lot when they turn up. If anyone else is interested in the 65 profile muddies, you can contact Stuart at murchisonproducts.com.au - I have no affiliation with him although I believe he is good mates with a pp forum regular.
Cheers

Re: BFG ODD SIZES
** As per the above post's**
Guys, not here to promote anything for Stuart's Business, however he is about to get another container of tyres. If anyone is after any hard to get sizes etc in BFG let me know and will pass onto him what you are looking for.
Again not trying to promote a business, just trying to help anyone get the tyres they may not be able to get locally.
** Mods any issues let me know**Rob

Re: 265/70R17 BFG Goodrich Mud Terrains
Roger,
I can highly recommend running a second set of 17 inch wheels with off road rubber on them, rather than staying 18 inch.
With a trolley jack and a 12v Shentai wrench a complete change can be done in under 30 mins.
It will only cost you a few hundred more overall and you get the best of both worlds.

The 265/70/17 BF Goodrich Mud Terain tyres appear to have a "Q" speed rating. This is below the Toyota recommended minimum (as stated on my tyre plackard on the B pillar drivers side)...something to keep in mind perhaps?SE Qld: GX 150GD Auto, (Feb'16 build): TJM T15 steel b bar, 9,500lb TORQ winch, TJM s steps, Rhino Pioneer Platform (42102B 1928X1236mm), front recovery points, Wynnum towbar, P3 brake controller, TNN Underbody guards, UHF, TREKtable & LED striplight, Custom Fridge & Drawers, Waeco CFX50, 9inch illuminator 160W LED spots, 40mm lifted Dobinson Suspension (Zordo's), ScanguageII, 30 Sec Wing Awning
