Ok so I decided to be a cheep skate and instead of replacing my bullbar with a winch compatible one, I set about modifying my non winch compatible TLM alloy bar to take my 12500lb winch.
I removed the bar and started to brain storm a way to manuufacture a cradle to take the winch. I started with two sections of 40 x 40 x 3.2mm RHS and tacked it in place beetween my bullbar mount brackets, I then folded a sheet of 6mm mild steel to act as the winch mounting plate and to hold the fairlead, this was all tacked in place and checked for correct allignment and then fully welded and primed.
I decided to mount the solenoid block remotely high up in the engine bay to keep it up out of the elements and went with incab controlls for the winch. The cables were run and all connected to the solenoid. With the holes drilled to mount the winch and fairlead the cradle was painted with 2 pack black for durability.
Once fitted back to the car the winch was wired up and bolted down. Then came the task of cutting a hole in the bullbar so the fairlead could protrude through. With all this done it is just a case of spooling the drum and finishing the incab controlls.
In the below photos you can see the step by step of the install.
