Ok do they do a rear bar certified with a towbar included? Just saw a cheapie from a 120 and thought if it was easy enough to mod..
I think thehtowing part of it makes it more crucial for insurance compliance
Maybe get some measurements of the 120 bar and compare it to your Prado. Someone like AMTS should be able to let you know if it'll mount up or not though.

When I was looking into this some time ago I was pretty keen on the one offered by MCC4x4. I believe they are the only ones who certified it's strength, but please confirm the details with them.
Some comments from them over email:
No welding is required. Yes bracket 1st then get someone to help you get the bar in place. Its actually really easy. Just the wiring can take some time.
Weight: bar- 37-40kgs. Arms 11-13kgs each. Brackets 10kgs (all up)
Nice looking bar prado2004, though as much as I'd like one I will wait until I've been limited offroad by my current setup, I think I'll be putting that $1900 into other mods.
That's a lot lighter than I thought it would be glen_ep. Strength for lifting and landing on rear bar would be nice but just a d shackle towbar insert should be my first change.
That towbar tongue is like a mud magnet, reckon it would be easy to get hung up on it.
I'm just looking forward to getting offroad to work out what I need/don't need instead of modding for what I think might go wrong ops:
