Outback drawers and black widow barrier????

Hi all,

I have a 90 series prado and outback drawer system and am wondering does anyone know if the black widow half barrier is a succesful fit or does it need modifying etc to work? Unfortunately I am unable to trial fir the barrier as it is to far away. Any help is a appreciated.

Hey mate,

It should have no problems fitting as we had an Off Road Systems Drawer set up (it was 3 drawers high) with a Milford Barrier. It really should make no difference which brand it is, I have often seen different brands mixed together in this way.

Hello there,

It will depend largely on how the barrier mounts up. For example, the milford 1/2 height barrier is designed for (and only rated for use with) an outback drawer system.

Having said that, the outback 1/2 height barrier mounts into the "jesus bar" mounts for the 3rd row, and then down on to the front most face of the drawers.

It might be a case of "give it a crack", but you may need to be mindful of ratings etc.
