I ordered my winch bar at our local ARB dealer here in town, it took 5 weeks to arrive. Not so good since it was 2 days before we left for the Finke Offroad race when i got my hands on it. It was Wednesday night and NRL Origin game 1 and nobody was willing to help out. So since I dont give a damm about football I borrowed a chain block from a mate and spent the night fitting it. All went well until I discovered one of the mounting plates had been manufactured incorrectly. There was no way I was going to get another one straight away so I did the only thing I could, cut it off and weld it back on the right side. Im not real impressed that the bracket was wrong and thinking ARB should have picked this up before it was sent.
I havent had a chance to go back to ARB yet although im sure they will supply another mounting plate. Its just that you expect it to be all there at the price you pay for their products. Im still happy though.
