  • Another 'Fitting a cargo barrier' thread

    Hi,

I am going to fit a Milford barrier that I was given without the fitting kit. From the look of it I can use the Child restraint floor bolt-holes for the bottom brackets, and possibly use the 3rd row grab handle holes for the top brackets. Can someone who has a rear A/C and a Milford barrier, please post a photo of the mounts. I am reluctant to shell out $160 for a few bolts from Milford.

    cheers
    David

      FC_Holden,
Got a link? I cannot find anything on their site other than them stating that they recomend they are fitted by a qualified fitter.

      Cheers

Re: Another 'Fitting a cargo barrier' thread

I got my kit for the old prado grande (rear air) from TJM for $100, detailed instructions worth getting the right bits, also with the grande the fitting kit is different to your GXL, etc The top mounts are in a different spot so if you manage to get an instruction sheet MAKE SURE its for a grande before drilling holes. I will have a quick look in my shed to see if I still have the instructions by any chance, will let you know......Regards Steve

              Hi Guys,

Just wondering if one of you could send the fitting instructions to myself. I am in the same boat as Dave, Just picked one up today with all fittings but no instructions.

              Thanks,
              Daryl

Re: Another 'Fitting a cargo barrier' thread

                Hey,

If I could also grab the instructions to suit a Prado with rear air-con (VX) it would be appreciated.

I thought I would have to run a custom cargo barrier without mounting to the roof (Only to the floor plus draws) but if I can mount one securely then I may just do that.

                Cheers!

Hiya guys, none of you have sent me a private email so I can reply to you with the instructions. I tried posting on here but have troubles with it downloading the pics so faxing to you would be the way to go............Regards Steve
