can any one tell me if a cargo barrier from a 2001 prado gxl
will fit my 98 gxl prado ?
i keep getting told yes and no
can any one confirm ?

Looking at getting a 2002 prado cargo barrier but will it fit in my 97 GLX prado?

This is my cargo barrier. It only cost $10. Is easy to fit and remove. It even holds everything in place when the car is cambered to the side. I tested it for the first time in Cape York on the 1,500km of corrugated roads and the Telegraph track and it performed without fault and kept everything in place just the way I packed it. If anyone's looking for simple ideas this is a great one.
