Fridge Slide Advise

Hi,

I'm planing on fitted a fridge slide for my 80L Waeco.
I don't have draws or anything like that to mount the slide onto so has anyone attempted to fit a fridge slide to the floor?

I've heard suggestions of fitting a false floor made of marine ply and then fixing the slide to that.
Anyone got pictures of somthing simular? any advise?

How did you bolt in the false floor?

I think I used 'T-nuts' from memory. The engel slide I used has 4 holes for bolts... one at each corner.


The floor its self is just held in place by it's own weight and a heavy duty strap through holes cut in the floor between the two original rear tie down loops.
