  • 120 series hard spare wheel cover on a 90 series?

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has tried to fit a 120 series hard spare wheel cover on the 90 series Prado?

The tyre circumference is virtually the same assuming original sizes. So can't see why a 120 wheel cover can't fit unless you have skinny wheels...

Thanks for that Amts, I do have the STD skinny wheels but am looking at putting STD 120 series Steel wheels which I think are 16 x 7" so should hopefully all come together

Hi Tony. Any particular reason you wish to fit a hard cover - any advantages? I had a new vinyl cover made up (with Prado and Totota decals) to replace the tatty one which was fitted when I brought mine. Then my son gave me a brand new original 90 hard cover (cancelled order) which I fitted. I took it off and refitted the vinyl cover after a while as i considered the Prado looked better with the black vinyl one. Cheers.
