I have a Deluxe bar with winch that I fitted myself. Was there any thing in particular you wanted to know?
I'm sure the factory Alloy bar could be sold. 2nd hand bull bars are normally snapped up pretty quick. If the plastic bumper is in good condition some one will take it off your hands. eBay is your best bet.Last edited by williade; 20-09-2011, 02:56 PM.Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

The ALDI winch will bolt straight up, but the fitting the fairlead requires some work to the bar.
I cut about 10 mm of the bar so the upper roller would not foul on it. See the marking in the photo for where I had to cut. I also had to drill 2 12mm holes for the fairlead. The lower fairlead holes line up with the lower winch mounting holes but the upper fairlead holes need to be drilled.

No complaints yet. I did a straight line pull off a tree on the weekend to give the cable a bit of a stretch. It worked a treat. But the real test will be when it has to recovery Prado when its resting on the diffs in mud.
Oh, you will also need longer bolts for the lower winch mounting holes. I got some HT bolts from Bunnings for a few dollars. You will also need couple of Allen keys to take the gear box off to rotate it so the clutch lever is accessible.Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier
