  • Front guard flare loose

I need to tighten up the passenger side flare on the guard as the thin rubber between the flare and the guard itself, keeps coming loose.
When i push it back in, i noticed the flare is a little loose, thus enabling the rubber to keep falling out.
I could not see how the flares are fitted to the body, to see if i could tighten it up a bit. How are the flares fitted on?

Also i noticed the rear door mouldings look like they are riveted onto the door, which can be seen under the door itself when opened.
If removed, do these have to be replaced with oem rivets?
Want to touch up a bit of moulding/flare paintwork, but could not see an easy off / on fitting.
May be best to do on the car if too dificult to remove and refit.

I've got the same issue driver's side. Photos in this thread. http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...g-Front-flares

You'll see the clips holding the flare on. Theres' 4 or 5 from memory. If you notice the tab to the left of my fingers, that should bolt onto the body. Mine is broken.

Toyota spares sell the clips and the flares if its broken.

Does this refer to a 90 series or 120?
The link you posted was in the 120 series, unless they are unchanged
mine just looks a little loose at the top, and allows the rubber to keep falling out.
