Drivers side rear door won’t lock

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my rear drivers side door, as the title suggests, it’s not locking. It doesn’t work with the central locking, but even when you attempt to lock it manually by depressing the sniper button it won’t go. You can push it hard (there is a lot of resistance) until it is down all the way but nothing latches and it just pops back up.

I have removed the door trim to have a look if it is something obvious but I can’t see anything, it all looks fine. Is it a problem with the actuator? If so, what are the next steps? Any other ideas?

Actuator or push rod. Needs stripping down and checking.
