For the newbies Step 15 ( in my opinion ) should read - Remove ( or loosen ) diff filler plug, then drain diff oil...
These filler plugs can be difficult to get out for a first timer, especially if the front diff oil change has been neglected for some time. If you drain the diff and can't get the filler plug out then you are stuffed. The rest of the post is truly awesome, I hope I never need it. LOL
