Hey Guys, i have this clunk that sounds like its coming from the back, its mainly when i take off from a set of lights and put the clutch in to change into second, as soon as i hit 2nd Gear i get a clunk clunk in rear then i release the clutch.... its done it even before the clutch was replaced, no play in driveshaft, but its wierd, only does it in 2nd gear and when the clutch has been depressed in just about when i hit 2nd gear...

Weird. Even though the initial comment was a bit old and It won't solve the jolting at 70km/h whatever that is but I'd personally start by buying yourself a 450g cartridge of grease and a grease gun. Grease all the nipples along the two shafts (7 in total I think from memory) and I reckon some of the slow speed clunking you're describing will stop. If your car clunks or jolts a little when stopping then that's usually a dry Uni joints and slide yolks. Your joints are probably dry as a bone inside. If any of the nipples take up to 6 pumps of grease each then they're totally dry. Stop pumping grease in as soon as you hear grease being forced through the seals. It's an unmistakable crackling type sound. The slide yolk will continue to take grease with no obvious signs that enough's enough. I generally only pump them with the same maximum amount that one of the nipples nearby took. Over pump the slide yolk and you'll begin the see the drive shaft being forced out. Not a bad thing by any means if only over pumped a little bit but don't make a habit of it. Re-fill them with grease every time you change oil. This is overlooked by so many people and quite often neglected long term. Neglecting to do this combined with regular mud and bog hole driving = bad idea.
As a stab in the dark did you have disintegrated bushes in the rear such as bottom of shock absorbers, lower control arms or panhard rod? If the car "jolts" as opposed to "clunking" at all while driving at a healthy speed then get your coil packs checked.
