New Clutch needed?????

Does anyone have part numbers and manufacturers for a Clutch for 2.7 petrol Prado start of Chasis number is RZJ959 year 2000 based in the UK seems like trying to finding Rocking Horse Poo.

Also I use it for towing my boat can anyone tell me what free wheel hubs do?

It is 5speed manual do diffs lock on it and is this automatic when selecting 4wheel low.

Excellent car other than clutch slipping!!!

Any performance upgrades recommended??

Is there free wheel hubs? If there is, they connect front axle shafts to wheel hubs. If they are FREE, you donīt have four wheel drive at any lever position! I think all Prados are with full-time 4WD, so there canīt be free wheel hubs.

The lever selects between 4WD-hi, 4WD-hi-locked, and 4WD-lo-locked. It locks the centre differential.

Change the clutch if it slips! :wink:

FREE WHEEL

Hi I've had clutch done Ģ320 ouch but is a lot better.

It is selectable 4wd so can select 2wd normal Driving on Black Stuff, then 4WD hi and Lo, so from what you said if I select 4WD drive and Free wheel hubs are in Free position i still have only 2WD???

Is this correct and should I drive with hubs in free position or Locked when in 2 Wheel drive???

Should I invest in diff lockers if so which ones?????

Launching boat on beach what should I have 4WD Lo Hubs locked, sorry for ignorance but always had lighter boat and permanent 4wd so on a learning curve here!!!

You can drive with FREE or LOCK -position, both are ok. But you save gas and front driveline if you drive with FREE-position.

Not necessary, but itīs recommended. Itīs only 2WD if you have hubs FREE.
