Ditto for me too. Had one in the 80 for 20 years. Never any problems and it just worked beautifully.

Thanks mate. The only people who criticise the Detroit have either never owned one or are referring more frequently to the Lokka by 4wd Systems which seems to be a lot more agricultural. Thanks for contributing!
