Hey, I need help figuring out how to remove the black extention of the shifter selector (manual) on my Prado as I have a massive amount of slop in it.

Was unable to upload the video, however it is on my story on insta. @fitz_wags -
So turned out, these two parts are rubber molded to each other and can't be pulled apart. It's to take some of the vibration out of the shifter. The wear is caused from resting your hand on the shifter. Best fix is a new selector or cut and weld.
I'm going with cut and weld because I'm cheap and want a shorter shifter.Comment
