Hi Guys

I have a small problem

RH Inner CV boot keeps failing

I have a 2 inch lift (Dobinsons)

I have replaced the boots 3 or 4 times

I am opting for long travel boots from the US

I need to know the od of the inner CV diff housing

or the id of an inner CV boot to ensure I am getting the right parts

Priced a genuine yesterday $90 odd

If anyone can advise Cheers

Hi Boss. Won't be anything to do with your lift. I have a 2" lift with dobi's and have done 30,000 km since the lift with no grief. The service records with the Prado don't mention the boots having ever been done. Cheers.

I would have to agree with Derb. I had a 90 with 2" lift and with 270,000 ks on the clock still with original boots on .You may have marked/nicked the cv joint when changing boots and the mark is cutting the new boots.
