I purchased lokka from 4wd systems in s.a. About $500 delivered. Definitely a cheap reliable option.

I believe the front is much more of an advantage. If I had to choose 1 it would be front.

Why you may ask?:

No LSD in front.
Limited travel & flex.
Unloaded when pointed up a hill. So easy to spin a wheel which means you have no drive to the other. Rear wheel drive.

The rear flexes well & has more chance of staying on the ground. Harder to spin a wheel.
It as a lot of weight on it to keep it down when going up.
It has LSD, you have a foot brake, handbrake, etc can easily be used to help it if needed sometimes.

Thats my opinion in it.

That's the same mob I've been talking to, price is very similar too.

Hmm I've been tooing and throwing over this decision a lot. I think that personally the cost difference between front and rear is pretty significant. I could have a rear Lokka and a few other nice toys for the same money as the front locker. Keeping in mind that I've still got along way to go with this build it might be my better option for the moment.
I do have both on my to do list tho
