RPM Pick up location

Hoping you guys can help me because no one in the UK appears to be able to

I require an rpm pickup for my lpg kit, the fitter used Number 1 injector but it looses this on over run. I have been told I need to ick up the one off the Alternator or Crank Position sensor but cant find any detail on this anywhere

Engine is the 24 v 3400cc Petrol, year is 1996, model VZJ95

Does anyone know where the location and wire colour by any chance
