  • Sub Tank fuel guage

    Hi all,

Problem is the in-laws 90 series T-Diesel sub tank fuel guage. When traveling long distances fully laden with gear and camper trailer in tow and on main tank the sub tank reads full, when switiching to sub tank both tanks then read empty. After stoping for 10 minutes the guages then read correctly, full sub tank and 1/4 left in main.

This is an intermitant problem and only happens on long journeys.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks.

Sounds like a tricky one. As an electrician I HATE auto electrics.
I would start looking at the negative/ground wiring, most (but not all) intermitent problems are due to bad grounding.
