  • electric windows Power relay

I have an intermittent fault where the electric windows fail to operate. I have changed the window master switch assemble on the drivers arm rest still happens some times. I see on the electrical wiring diagram (Haynes) that there is a POWER RELAY that switches the power to the window master switch. I feel this relay may be faulty. My dilemma is where do I find this relay. None of my manuals show its location. Any help in locating where this relay is situated will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

found it http://www.lcool.org/technical/90_se...ws/window.html while researching further found this modification and it shows where the relay is and how to bypass it to have the windows working without the ign turned on.

Any chance you could post the wiring diagram for the power windows. I have a different fault where rear left will wind down from master or door switch but won't go up. Only way to raise it is reverse polarity of the wiring from the door switch to the motor.

Mine does exactly this but can be put back up with the rear door switch.
