I just purchased a 99 VX Grande and both key remotes are not working - can you replace the battery or does it need to go to Toyota and be jeyed to the vehicle (like my SS)? Further what cost is involved?

If your remote is anything like mine, it's very easy to open up and replace. Just the cost of the battery. See attached pictures...
