The car has been left in town & I will be checking it out in the morning so I haven't yet had a chance to check anything as of yet.
Parkers work
Low Beam Doesn't
High Beam Does
Driving Light Don't (But I suspect they somehow rely on the low beam working....not sure how since they should only activate via the high Beam - they are IPF with the button control thingy in the cabin)
My check list will be....
Fuses (Looking at the circuit diagram there is a seperate fuse for left & right so this is unlikely to th eproblem since both are out)
Relay (One common point is the Headlight Relay, but I think both low beam & high beam get thier +12V form the same point)
Combo Switch (Makes the earth connection for each mode, i.e. high, low, parkers - looks like the only thing that makes sense if that is not swicthing for low beam.)
......is there anything else?
The reason I say Relay is I have read several reports of the contacts arcing, we also run the lights almost always during the day since our Prado is "Invisble Silver" in colour! & it makes the dash easier to read....
Cheers
