  • Lights on Air Panel Going Out

    Hi,
Over the past few months I've watched the lights on my air control panel go out one by one, and also the light in the aux fuel gauge fail as well. The whole panel is now a black out after dark.
Is there an easy way to source and replace the globes? Are there LED alternatives? I've taken the panel off before when loading a UHF and taking a look to replace the light in the fuel gauge however could not go any further. Any advice/guidance appreciated.

    cheers
    Roger

You can access the bulbs at the back of the panel or guage, but you will need to take them out to be able to get to the bilbs. Sometimes it's just dirty contacts but bulbs are so cheap compared to the work involved better to just replace them while you're at it.
If you don't have a worksho[p manual I suggest you get one before doing the job.
No I don't believe there's an LED alternative.
